Overview

Unsupervised builds AI-powered data analyst tooling for enterprise teams. I joined as Senior Software Engineer, Lead and took ownership of the core Embedded Analyst integration — the product that lets enterprise SaaS customers embed a natural-language data analyst directly into their own platforms.

The technical challenge was making the integration model-agnostic: the system needed to work reliably regardless of which underlying LLM a customer or Unsupervised chose to use, while maintaining accuracy and minimizing hallucinations — the most damaging failure mode for a data analyst tool in a business context.

What I built

Designed and led development of the model-agnostic Embedded Analyst integration, enabling enterprise SaaS customers to embed a data analyst into their own products.
Architected the hallucination-reduction layer that kept answer accuracy high regardless of model choice — the primary driver of the DA-bench results.
Built a custom CSV importer that significantly reduced B2B time-to-market by eliminating manual data onboarding friction.
Consolidated Python microservices into a unified Ruby on Rails application, reducing system complexity and improving maintainability.
